What happens if an event gets cancelled?
Every stake refunds automatically and instantly. Cancelling costs nobody anything — no-showing does.
What if the host flakes?
Hosts stake too. If a host doesn't show up or cancels late, their stake is forfeited and split among the attendees who came.
Where does forfeited money go?
Back to the people who actually showed up. Loopp takes no cut of forfeited stakes — flakers pay, attendees get paid.
How do you prove I showed up?
The host displays a rotating QR code at the venue. You scan it in the app to check in — that's what releases your refund.
Is Loopp free?
The free tier covers hosting and joining up to 4 activities a month. Premium unlocks unlimited activities plus a verified badge on your profile.
When can I start using it?
Loopp is rolling out to its first neighborhoods soon on iOS and Android. The map opens, the pins drop, and the first stakes go live shortly after that.
